Did the famous Ukrainian song video "Vanka Vstanka" show cemeteries in the background? No, that's not true: The video has been doctored.
Ukrainian actor Masha Kondratenko wrote and performed the satirical song, which quickly went viral.
The false claim appeared in a video (archived here) published on the account of liudmilakonstantinu with the title "Stop." It has been shared 3172 times until the 13th of April 2023 at 4.20 Pacific time. The opening text of the Tiktok video says the following:
My God, what is this? Are they mad? Enough is enough! I have not seen anything like this!

The original song is about Russian soldiers who are compared to a Soviet doll, and it was created, according to Masha Kondratenko's Instagram post, to "uplift Ukrainian warrior's morale." Masha's Instagram page shows that the video clip was shot in Pirogovo's open-air museum in Kyiv in July 2022. The song has now reached 24 Million views on YouTube since its publishing.
