Has the compulsory military service age for men in the Ukrainian army been raised from 60 to 65? No, that's not true: The law draft submitted to Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian Parliament, proposes raising the military age to 65 years for common soldiers, non commissioned and warrant officers and raising it to 70 years for command authorities based on their willingness to continue their military service and to soldiers' level of motivation.
The claim appeared in a video (archived here) where it was published by alexandr_turner on October 3, 2023 on TikTok with the text on the video (translated from Russian by Lead Stories staff):
In Ukraine they plan to draft the elderly. A bill was registered that allows mobilization of men over 60.

Other criteria for extending the military service for men older than 60 years include high professional training, practical experience in the field of work and being in good health. Army personnel meeting all the criteria and willing to remain in military service are allowed to extend their contracts for an additional 5 years. The law is designed to combat age discrimination in the army.
The current conscription age in Ukraine ranges from 18 to 60 years.
