The video showing a heavy convoy with loads of manpower, filmed from the opposite direction, was posted on a Telegram channel on June 24, 2023, with the description (translated from Russian by Lead Stories staff): "Wagner convoy in Voronezh oblast (region). Equipped with heavy military machinery. Anti-aircraft missile and gun system Pantsir-S1, tanks T-72B3, BMP-2, BRDM-2."
Twitter user Neonhandrail specializing in geolocation compared the video and the real images and concluded it was Voronezh Oblast, Russia.
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko during his press conference with foreign and regional journalists on July 6, 2023, replied that PMC Wagner leader Yevgeny Prigozhin was not in Belarus.
