Did almost half of U.S citizens oppose future aid to Ukraine in a survey? No, that's not true: Only 38 percent of all the respondents disagreed with supporting Ukraine in the conflict.
The outcomes of a poll conducted by AP-NORC in February 2023 revealed that 37 percent of respondents expressed support, 38 percent expressed opposition and 23 percent stated neither when asked about U.S. financial aid to Kyiv.
When assessing military assistance, such as the provision of weapons to Ukraine, 48 percent expressed support, 29 percent expressed opposition and 22 percent neither supported nor opposed such measures.

During a Foreign Affairs Committee hearing on the Oversight, Transparency, and Accountability of Ukraine assistance in late March 2023, Inspector General Robert P. Storch of the U.S. Department of Defense confirmed that no instances of security assistance deviation were found. This means there was no evidence of funds being misused by the Ukrainian government. U.S. National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby stated in a press briefing on March 29, 2023, that there was "no misconduct" in managing the security assistance to Ukraine. Additionally, the U.S. Treasury Department confirmed that it had found no indication of misuse of U.S. funds in Ukraine.
